Hannah is running London Marathon!

Hannah is running the London Marathon to support the start of Hirschsprung’s Disease UK.

As a founder and entrepreneur, Hannah has worked closely with Georgina, our founder, for many years and has seen first-hand what life can look like for families navigating Hirschsprung’s disease.

That experience is what led her to take on this challenge.

Hirschsprung’s disease is a rare condition that affects around 1 in 5,000 children. While it is often described as something treated with surgery, the reality for many families is more complex.

There can be ongoing challenges, hospital stays, and a need for long-term support.

Despite this, there is currently no dedicated UK charity focused solely on supporting those affected by Hirschsprung’s disease.

Hirschsprung’s Disease UK has been created to change that.

Funds raised will help us begin developing:

  • parent diagnosis packs to support families from the start
  • peer support networks to connect people with shared experiences
  • research into the experiences of those affected across the UK

This is early-stage work, focused on building something that is shaped by the community and responsive to real needs.

Taking on the London Marathon is a significant commitment, and Hannah is doing it to help get this organisation off the ground.

If you would like to support her, you can donate here.

This is one of the first fundraising efforts supporting Hirschsprung’s Disease UK.
